NW Idea House

Long before the start of this project, the homeowners had a clear idea of what they envisioned and had dreamed about for the outcome of their custom home. From the architectural plans to the landscape design, this home is exactly what they wanted.  It has a great comfortable feeling and the floor plan creates a nice flow.  This homes aesthetics and flow gives it a feeling of comfort, relaxation, cohesiveness and overall a warm and inviting presence.
With the chosen finish materials and muted monochromatic color palette we used in this year's Idea House, it would be most classified as a Modern Farm house.  Most of the walls and some of the ceilings were wrapped in white shiplap giving the walls texture and interest.  Keeping the color palette light and bright, we wanted to bring in some bold patterned tiles underfoot in the bathrooms, creating some pattern & excitement.  White marble, and white cabinetry are considered the "little black dress", in the design world, as it is classic and always looks beautiful over the years.
